When students get the right support tailored to their needs, they succeed and thrive.
Hi there, I’m Nancy Taylor and I’ve spent more than 30 years working for students in Connecticut and New York metro schools as a certified school psychologist, school administrator, and special education advocate. I’ve helped thousands of families and students of all disability areas and grade levels at every kind of school across urban, suburban, and rural school districts as well as at private, charter, therapeutic day and residential schools.
My professional background gives me an edge when it comes to bridging the gap between families and schools. I know how schools work and can speak their language which helps my clients avoid an uphill battle when it comes to understanding their rights and navigating school policies, processes, and practices.
I use my skills as a school psychologist to decode the underlying issues contributing to your child’s difficulties with school. Together, we’ll navigate the complicated processes and jargon and calm the tangled emotions you are feeling. I’ll help you explore new perspectives and possibilities founded in the clinical and educational data that should be driving the decisions made by you and the school.
